Sports and recreation have always played a significant role in my life, from competitive tennis and lacrosse in my youth to coaching basketball, high school tennis, and Linfield University’s Women’s Lacrosse team. Today, my passion continues through pickleball, running, hunting, fishing, and foraging, fostering my deep appreciation for Oregon’s green spaces and the dedicated individuals who maintain them. Chehalem Parks and Recreation District (CPRD) provides our community with outstanding facilities, including parks, walking trails, youth sports programs, a beautiful golf course, and a top-tier competition pool. It's critical that CPRD prioritizes maintaining these amenities to ensure they remain safe and accessible.
LEADERSHIP ON & OFF THE COURT
Our community thrives thanks to CPRD's diverse recreational offerings—from youth sports programs and pickleball to beautiful trails, golf courses, and a competition-quality pool. I am committed to expanding and improving these opportunities, ensuring recreation continues to enrich the lives of everyone in our community.
Proper maintenance of CPRD recreation amenities is essential for providing safe, accessible, and inclusive recreational experiences for all residents. I'll support policies that prioritize the upkeep of parks, trails, sports fields, and pools to maintain the high-quality recreation our community deserves.
I will advocate for efficiency within CPRD to ensure that each dollar invested directly enhances recreational opportunities. By focusing on responsible stewardship, we can effectively fund new projects while keeping recreation affordable and accessible.
